San Francisco sock

After finishing the Cat Bordhi sock, I’m relieved to be doing a regular ol’ cuff down sock with this very fun yarn that I got from The Textile Arts Company recently. It is called San Francisco from Wisdom Yarns. It is 75% wool and 25% Polyamide and super fun to watch develop into stripes and fair isle. This is colorway #201.

  1. Those are really fun colors. I love having a sock on the needles for a trip. Very important. I’m intimidated to try a Bordi sock from her new book. I tried to learn how to do Judy’s Magic Cast On via video on the web, done by Cat Bordhi and I couldn’t get through it because she wanted to teach it by telling a story and then changing the characters and talking about clock hands and I’m like, “Lady! Oh my cheese and rice just DO IT. Like Nike, you know?”

    Anyhoo…

  2. I’ll teach you the Magic Cast-on next time I see you. It’s really easy!
